Our oldest daughter, Tanie was married this past May. The wedding and reception was all held at our home church, "Wallen Baptist Church". The ceremony was beautiful and Karen Calloway catered the reception. The food was fantastic. The greatest part was all of the family and friends that shared in the special day with us. Don's Aunts, Barb, Jeanine, Rosemary and their husbands drove many miles to celebrate with us. It was very special that they came as Tanie's grandma, Beverly Schroth passed away 12 years ago and her grandfather, Don Schroth Sr (Grampy)passed away 3 years ago, so it made the day special for them to be there to remember their lives. Tammy and Kayden came all of the way from North Carolina ( Kayden was the flower girl) and Doug and Liz Schroth came all of the way from Oklahoma. Liz did the makeup for the bride and was a huge support and help for us. Tanie's grandparents came all the way from El Paso, Texas came and that was very special to us. Her Uncle Ace who never misses a family event flew in from St. Pete, Florida, he was in the wedding too. It was a great day, we were truly blessed. The best part is we have gained a wonderful son-in-law. Matt and Tanie will do great things for the cause of Christ.

That is definitely one of my favorite wedding pictures :-) We have it in a big frame in our bedroom.
